Privacy Policy

Nute is a notepad calculator built by Tild Srls ("we", "us"). Nute is designed around a simple principle: your notes are yours. This page explains what data the app handles and what it does not.

Your notes

The contents of your notes never leave your device or your iCloud. We do not see them, we do not store them, and there is no opt-in setting to send them to us. Notes live locally on your device. If you enable iCloud Sync in Settings, notes are also stored in your private iCloud container, which is managed by Apple under your Apple ID; we have no access to that container.

Product analytics

Nute sends a small amount of product-usage information to our own analytics service (Logga, operated by Tild Srls). We use it to understand which features are used, how the paywall performs, and to catch errors. The data is not sold, not shared with advertisers, and not used to track you across other apps or websites.

Specifically, each event we send includes:

• A stable random install identifier (a UUID generated on first launch and synced via your iCloud key-value store so the same identifier is used across your own devices). It is not your Apple ID, email, name, or device serial.
• Your RevenueCat app-user ID — an anonymous identifier RevenueCat generates to match purchases to a user account. It is not your Apple ID.
• Whether your premium entitlement is active.
• The app version and build number, and the platform (iOS/iPadOS/macOS).
• The event itself — for example, paywall_shown, purchase_started, purchase_succeeded, restore_succeeded, app_launched, premium_state_changed — together with non-personal metadata such as the product identifier, localized price string, and trial days remaining.

We never send the contents or titles of your notes, your contacts, your location, your photos, or any other personal data. The identifiers above are pseudonymous: they let us count distinct users, but on their own they cannot identify you in the real world.

Third-party services

• Apple App Store / StoreKit — handles purchases and receipts. Subject to Apple's privacy policy.
• RevenueCat — used to verify your purchase entitlement. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app-generated user ID and the purchase transaction; it does not receive your name, email, or note contents. See RevenueCat's privacy policy.
• Currency exchange rates — when you use currency conversions, Nute fetches public exchange rates from open.er-api.com. The request contains no personal data and no note content; only the public USD-base endpoint is called.
• iCloud — Apple's iCloud service syncs your notes between your own devices. We do not have access. See Apple's privacy policy.

Tracking

Nute does not track you across other companies' apps or websites and does not use Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. The product analytics described above are first-party: they stay between you, your devices, and our own backend, and are not shared with advertising networks or data brokers.

Children

Nute is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13.

Your rights

We do not hold an account in your name, so there is no profile to log into. You can request deletion of the product-analytics records tied to your install identifier at any time by emailing [email protected]. You can also remove all Nute data from your devices by deleting the app and, if you used iCloud Sync, removing Nute's data from iCloud in your device Settings.

Changes

If this policy changes, the "Effective" date above will be updated. Material changes will also be announced in the app.
